As readers of ‘News with a Foreign Accent’, you’ll know how I go on and on (and on and on….) about the challenges of a being second-language English speaker. That’s certainly something I felt in my 20+ year career as one of the very few second-language English news presenters working for the world’s leading broadcasters. I’ve written about it extensively in this newsletter.
