Hi Barbara, thanks for posting this and please also take note of the sense of betrayal, loss of opportunities and removal of human rights suffered by people like me who are British citizens living in European Union countries...best wishes, Jane Whyatt, formerly Jan Haworth, City University 1994-2008.

Dear Barbara, I’ve been living in the UK, better, in London, for four years before to move back to my place, Bari. My four years there were fully lived 24/24 every single day. I’ve been living with Italians fellows, knew same there, with extra-EU citizens. I’ve been working only with English Companies ( as trying with Italian ones, they were awful working ambienta ), I shared each single working day with the most mixed races and immigrants I never could work with in no other Country. So living I got a Degree in Life and Experience that any University could grant you. That knowledge I earned, I am still using nowadays and it boosted my life and working career. So,!that meant to me and to millions of other people, moving to the UK for a relatively short period, or, for the rest of life, like for you. All that was possible because the UK being part of the EU community and we as EU foreigners were even incentivized to attend many different studies courses at very cheap prices, or, for free ( like happened to me in the Westminster College in Hammetsmith, London ). Also, the UK was still keeping their own money, pounds. So, why to get out of EU ? It was a big mistake meaningless done only for political reasons to strengthen the Tories consensus and get the parliament majority. A selfish action that will later on move back against them and announce a new request to be back on a kind of EU collaboration. Basically loosing a lot of money and opportunities. That is because Europe, UK and USA relations are and will be even more strengthened in the future.

Thank you for sharing your experience,

Nicola Maurizio Palumbo

Great. Read my book Rising from Existential Crisis! I interviewed several EU citizens about how all this affected their mental health and tell my own Brexit Story too.https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rising-Existential-Crisis-beyond-calamity/dp/1910919853/ref=sr_1_1?crid=XUVPV4WEG0LZ&keywords=rising+from+existential+crisis&qid=1655985269&sprefix=rising+from+%2Caps%2C78&sr=8-1

You don't look like an orca in that photo. You look as poised and dignified as always.
