Happy Easter Barbara. Didn't know you were a believer. Both my parents were atheists and I was brought up completely godless. One of my favourite Roman Emperors was Julian, the "Apostate", who came to power shortly after Constantine. Julian loved Greek, and above all Homer, and he despised Christianity, and tried to get the Roman world to revert to the "old gods". When the false religiosity of "Easter" gets blasted out non-stop over the airwaves at this time of year, I raise a toast to Julian, to take my mind off the traditional Easter violence and nastiness perpetrated each year by the various Abrahamic cults.
